A little late to the Lagos party it seems! I can s A little late to the Lagos party it seems! I can see why this spot in the south of Portugal has become a popular tourist destination. It's small, quirky and has plenty of great beaches + dining spots. Was great exploring the coastline by water. We opted for the @bluefleet.pt 2 hour boat tour. I also rated the coffee & food @blackandwhitelagos Great dinner options at Real Portuguese Cuisine (that is the name of the restaurant) + @apetisqueiralagos

Málaga was a very pleasant surprise and I would happily return in future! Our arrival coincided with the very start of the Málaga Feria 2022! The city was full of vibrant colours, outfits, music, food and cultural events. The food @nakedandsated was phenomenal - we found this place by pure chance. The entire establishment is gluten free and they offer many vegan/vego options.👌 Next stop Lagos, Portugal📍
Last night I sat in complete silence surrounded by Last night I sat in complete silence surrounded by a body of water, in anticipation for the rising full moon. I watched the waves crash up against the rocks 🪨 and at one point I honestly started to get a little impatient waiting for the moon 🌝 to show its face. The same impatience I often feel when I am meditating. Why am I doing this? When will this be over? Hurry, hurry, hurry! As I sat I felt the clear message, "you will know when I am here, close your eyes." So I trusted that voice. One I often question and sometimes even turn a blind eye too. I sat there with my eyes closed, in complete silence, open to any messages that wanted to come through. A shadow of disappointment started to swell, when nothing profound came through. Naturally I forced a little more. "Stop forcing and simply listen dear one." I sat and observed. Slowly I started to hear the rhythm of the waves crashing up against the rocks 🪨🌊 start to change, the breeze start to get a little cooler across the surface of my skin, the sound of laughter being carried across the shore line. "This is it. All you need to do is observe." In this moment I was overwhelmed by a tingling sensation throughout my entire being. A smile started to grace my face. "Gosh, I haven't felt this feeling in a while!", I thought to myself. Which was met with the response, "the more you force, the less space there is for grace dear one." The intensity of the tingling and waves started to build. When all of a sudden, my face was sprayed with copious amounts of water. "I am here." As I opened my eyes there it was, starting to rear its face over the horizon 🌕, signalling the commencement of a new phase. With zero force, zero questioning, she showed up in all of her glory. Spreading light over the night sky. Reminding me that I am forever a student in this life form. We have so much to learn from Gaia, as long as we are willing to sit and observe without the force. Thank you for your grace.
